Hi – this is your communications officer here! Headway in Ireland works with people who are living with acquired brain injury in Ireland to live as independently as possible in their community. This blog will be a platform for the people we work with to tell their story….welcome to our world!
Don’t know what acquired brain injury is? Well it can happen to anyone at anytime – after, for example, a road crash, a stroke, or a brain tumour. A person’s life can change in an instant – as can that of their family. But we focus on people’s abilities, not their disability.
